I’ve always had concerns about the relationship between technology and humans. I believe that, nowadays, everyone is a cyborg because we all rely on technological devices to perform certain activities in our daily lives. Usually, we can identify these prosthetic extensions — such as smartphones, smartwatches, cameras, or any object we use to enhance our senses. But what will happen when these devices are no longer external, no longer visible to the eye?
This series is a fictional reflection inspired by films and stories such as Ghost in the Shell and Blade Runner, but it also alludes to the devastating impact technology has on our environment — evoked through scenes of abandoned industrial spaces.
