2022 – 2024

Rage was born when we began to resume our ‘normal’ lives after the pandemic. In my country, we went through intense political troubles, police abuse, and were forced to obey new regulations that changed our daily lives. I felt a deep sense of anger during the many moments when the government didn’t take care of our necessities, and I began to feel that I was wasting my youth, locked away at home.

When the laws of social distancing were lifted, I started going to every underground punk show perhaps as a way to forget the situation I was facing at home and at university. Over time, I began to connect that rage with the youth who spent their nights in abandoned factories, screaming punk songs. I came to understand why, after such difficult times, people especially young people continued to attend those shows: to lose themselves for a while. I connected my personal rage with a collective one. That is how I began to shape a lullaby through photographs, spending my youth nights.
