Shooting Portraits with Comeback Kid
I don’t usually like taking portraits of entire bands, but I made an exception for Comeback Kid, they’re pretty cool guys.
A year ago, Comeback Kid visited my city, Bogotá, and we arranged a quick photoshoot at their venue. The location was an industrial warehouse with three floors right in the heart of downtown. I found it particularly interesting, so I chose the second floor to take advantage of the natural light streaming through the large windows. I set up my lights and got to work.
I would have loved to shoot individual portraits of each member, but their schedule was tight, so I had to make the most of the time we had. These are the results. I also recorded a short behind-the-scenes video capturing the whole process—feel free to check it out!

Hace un año, Comeback Kid visitó mi ciudad, Bogotá, y organizamos una sesión de fotos rápida en su lugar de presentación. El lugar era un almacén industrial de tres pisos en pleno centro de la ciudad. Me pareció particularmente interesante, así que elegí el segundo piso para aprovechar la luz natural que entraba por las grandes ventanas. Monté mis luces y me puse a trabajar.
Me habría encantado hacer retratos individuales de cada miembro, pero su agenda estaba ajustada, así que tuve que aprovechar al máximo el tiempo que teníamos. Estos son los resultados. También grabé un breve video detrás de cámaras capturando todo el proceso—¡no dudes en echarle un vistazo!
